All Digital X-rays
With digital x-rays, we can diagnose dental problems hidden below the surfaces of teeth while also protecting our patients from radiation exposure. Using digital x-rays, we can create highly detailed images very quickly and instantly show them to you on a chairside monitor. Also, as we just mentioned, they expose our patients (and us!) to 90% LESS radiation compared to traditional x-rays, allowing us to improve our care and give our patients peace of mind at the same time.
The Isolite system gives your dentist the best possible field of vision while treating your smile. It consists of a rubber dam attached to a high fidelity light that can also provide suction control. With it, your dentist will be able to comfortably view any part of your mouth and see every detail, making it easier from them to catch the subtle signs of dental problems that would normally be missed by the naked eye.
This small, camera-tipped wand can be easily maneuvered through the mouth to take high-resolution images of the teeth and gums that can be instantly displayed on a large, chairside monitor. These images not only make it much easier for our team to catch dental problems, but they also give our patients the chance to finally see their smile from their dentist’s point of view. With this new perspective, you’ll be able to better understand the current state of your dental health and make more informed treatment decisions.
