Crowns & Bridges
Building Blocks of a New Smile
If you have a single tooth that has been damaged due to decay or trauma, a dental crown is a very effective way to restore it both structurally as well as cosmetically. It is a tooth-shaped restoration that simply fits over the top of the injured tooth and fully encapsulates it in order to provide protection.
However, if you have a missing tooth or even a few in a row, crowns can also be used to form a dental bridge and replace them. Dental bridges consist of three main parts: two dental crowns placed on either side of the gap in a patient’s smile and prosthetic teeth attached to them in order to completely fill in the space.
No matter which restoration you need, we’ll make sure it completely blends in with your smile and improves your ability to eat and speak at the same time. They both take at least two appointments to get, and if you think they could be right for your smile, please contact us today for an appointment.
